Privacy Policy

Who we are
Our website address is: https://theoliverphoenix.com.
What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Comments
When visitors leave comments or create an account on the site we collect the data shown in the form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. The information we collect may include the visitor’s IP address, user agent, referrer, and Site URL (along with other information directly provided by the visitor such as your name, username, email address, and the comment itself).
Email Subscription
On the Oliver Phoenix website, users are given the opportunity to subscribe to our newsletter. The input form used for this purpose determines what personal data are transmitted.
The newsletter may only be received by a user if 1) the user has a valid email address and 2) the user signs up to receive the newsletter and opts in. A confirmation email will be sent to the email address registered by a user for the first time, to obtain double opt-in confirmation for the newsletter sign-up. The confirmation email is used to prove whether the owner of the email address is authorized to receive the newsletter.
The newsletter sent by Oliver Phoenix contains tracking pixels, which are embedded into such emails to enable log file recording and analysis – essentially, when a user has opened an email or clicked on a link in an email. This allows for analysis and improvement of online marketing campaigns, to optimize the frequency of emails, and to adapt the content of future newsletters even better to the interest of the user.
The personal data collected as part of a sign-up for the newsletter will only be used to send our newsletter. We will never send spam nor sell the user’s personal information. There will be no transfer of personal data collected by the newsletter service and email provider to third parties. The subscription to our newsletter may be terminated by the user at any time by using an unsubscribe link which is included in every newsletter email sent by Oliver Phoenix. It is also possible to request removal from the newsletter subscription list via our contact page at any time.
Contact forms
The website contains a contact form that enables a quick way to contact us, which also includes a general address for email. If a user contacts Oliver Phoenix by email or via a contact form, the personal data transmitted by the user are automatically stored. Such personal data transmitted on a voluntary basis by a user to the website is stored for the purpose of processing or contacting the user. There is no transfer of this personal data to third parties.

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Cookies
The pages of Oliver Phoenix use cookies. Cookies are text files that are stored in a computer system via an Internet browser. Who we share your data with
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your Personally Identifiable Information unless we provide users with advance notice. This does not include website hosting partners and other parties who assist us in operating my website, conducting my business, or serving my users, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential.
