Are you tired of overriding what you know is your truth?

You already know yourself. Who you are, deep inside, and even who you want to be.

The challenge is, your body is stuck in protection mode.

So even though you’ve already: been in talk therapy, figured out what you don’t want, and want to make a change…

In the moment when you go to make the changes, your body and nervous system still

  • shut down (freeze)
  • dissociate (making you feel like you don’t care as much as you do about this)
  • backpedal and take you straight back into brain loops of logic and reasons to wait a little bit longer… until you’re “more ready”

So you stay more guarded in your self-expression than you want to be. You stay in the same loops, even when you understand them (and have explained them to your friends, therapist, and journal more times than you can count)

You’re not having a mindset problem, a willpower problem, an uncertainty problem, or a problem you can solve by pushing through.

It’s a pattern, a web of signals and messages all happening inside you. Your body is sending you messages, and when you can learn to hear, feel, and interpret them, you can liberate yourself from the patterns and stories you’ve outgrown.

This is the work I do.

I don’t give you endless space to talk it over again and again.

Surprisingly, that’s not actually that helpful

I say this because I’ve been there.

From my lived experience as a transmasc, AuDHD human with a fun, spicy amount of childhood religious trauma and relationship trauma, AND professional training as a somatic practitioner and yoga teacher, I have developed methods that really work for folks like us.

How I can help:

Through 3 months of biweekly 1:1 sessions, I guide you to:

  • Identify the patterns currently holding you back from what you want
  • Explore and track the places in your body trying to send you message
  • And start changing how you respond to them by connecting, honoring, and then shifting these patterns.

Actually transforming and supporting your relationship to your body and nervous system in order to make the changes you want in your life not just feel possible and exciting, but happen in real-time.

This is why I call this work Self-Liberation.

Because when you look honestly and deeply within, you will find the ways you are still censoring yourself and still gripping onto old ways of being. These are parts of yourself that you can love and treat with purposeful care, but they no longer get to rule your life.

When you make these connections and these transformations with love and liberation in the intention of the work…

You will express yourself more freely, more truly, more YOU.

And I can’t wait for you to experience what that feels like!!

Our work together can include:

  • Somatic practices for nervous system clarity
  • Yoga and other movement, tailored to your energy
  • Body-based pattern-mapping, meaning-making and reflection

How I use somatics: noticing, exploring, and working with understanding sensations in the body – through scanning/tracking, gentle touch, and guided explorations of what you’re feeling in the present moment.

Pattern mapping and meaning-making: connecting what you feel to how you act – and direct reflection on where you override yourself

What happens within each 60-minute session is fluid and tailored to who you are and what you need (and even what you need that day).

My goal in every session is for you to connect deeper to yourself AND leave with conviction & empowerment to take aligned action.

Between sessions, we’ll stay connected via voice notes. While I’m not one to give homework, this isn’t the kind of work that happens in 60-minutes and stays there.

In the sessions is where we identify the patterns and unravel the tangles. Where we get back in touch with yourself.

Between sessions is where you get to practice — changes in your self-expression, the way you talk to yourself, taking actions that feel a little easier and more supported (even if there’s still resistance).

Working with me means having accountability and encouragement and a laser-pointer for finding what needs to shift, but you still have to show up and keep showing up for yourself (the version of you that you want to be 3 months from now).

This is for YOU if:

  • You’re a queer or neurodivergent person feeling constantly overwhelmed in a world that doesn’t feel like it was made for you.
  • You might be struggling with executive dysfunction, sensory overwhelm/meltdowns, big feelings/intense emotions, feeling burnout/shutdown, dysphoria or imposter syndrome or struggle to notice body cues. 
  • You’ve done a lot of therapy and it still feels like your coping skills, self-care rituals, and go-to exercises aren’t working as well as you want them to.
  • You are often told you’re “so self-aware,” which sometimes makes you want to pull your hair out because “I’M STILL STRUGGLING OVER HERE!”
  • You’ve heard the phrases “feel your feelings” or “be in your body” and want this for yourself…
  • …but maybe you also feel a vague sense of dread or even lack of understanding about what this actually MEANS and how you get from dissociation or constant activity to this.
  • You are curious about meditation, breathwork, and somatic practices but are unsure if it will work for you (spoiler alert: there’s a lot of research saying it does work, especially for neurodivergent folks!!)
  • you’re ready for depth, not surface-level support
